Financial Director-

    Ms. Cindy-I am pleased to be able to work with all the children in our care.  I love to see the children learn new skills.  Outside of work, I spend my time with my family, boating and camping.

Director-

      Ms. Amy- I have been in the childcare field since 2001. I love utilizing color sorting games and velcro story boards with the children and seeing the children get these skills under their belts.  I’m originally from Wisconsin but love it here in Ames.

Discoverers’ Room: 6 weeks - 12 months

    Ms. Emonalee- I have worked in childcare for several years.  I love to see how the children develop every day. I especially love working with babies.  They bring me so much joy.

Explorers’ Room: 12 - 24 months

    Ms. Chloe-It is a pleasure to work with your children to help them grow and learn.  I enjoy watching their minds discover and learn new skills.  

Adventurers’ Room: 2 years

    Ms. Cheney- It is a pleasure to work with your children to help them grow and learn.  I enjoy watching their minds discover and learn new skills.

Navigators’ Room: 3 years

    Ms. Rachel- I have worked in the childcare and social work areas since I graduated.  I love to watch each child grow as an individual and watch how they discover new things every day.

    Ms. Julie- I have been at Formative Years since 1999. I enjoy watching the children discover different ways to build with blocks and seeing the children’s imaginations grow. When I’m away from work, I spend time at home with my husband, two dogs and two cats.

Inventors’ Room: 4 Years

    Ms. Maria- I've been in childcare since 2006 and have been with Formative Years since 2008. I love how engaged four-year-olds are with books and story time. Outside of work I love spending time with my family, friends, and especially my dog!

Learners’ Room: 4 - 5 years

    Ms. Nikki- I have been working with children for many years and have been here at Formative Years since 2010. I thoroughly enjoy helping them learn how to build and create. When I’m not working, I love spending time with my daughter doing puzzles and reading.
