Formative Years Growing and Learning Center opened in 1986 in Ames with a mission to provide professional, early-childhood educational programs for children before they begin school. With the recent addition of a new campus in Davenport, we look to expand this philosophy to a new community and pledge the highest level of care and education to the children we serve. We provide care to children 6 weeks to 5 years old at both locations, and before/after school care to age 12 and a summer day camp program for K-6 graders at Ames.
